Reddit is a platform where you post threads and ask questions, inspire others, or even simply post for your own enjoyment or to reach other users on Reddit.

I can personally tell you reddit could be an incredible tool for a business if correctly leveraged and I have an example that can be an outline for other companies to possibly follow. EA Sports is a company that creates sports video games and a game that they have is called Madden Mobile that you download as an app on your smartphone.This is an online football game where you play in Live Events and play against others around the world and you can even play with your friends if they have also downloaded the Madden Mobile application.
Okay, so how is Reddit even involved what does EA Sports do?
EA Sports has created forums within Reddit for the Madden Mobile Game. All you have to do once you are in the site is search Madden Mobile, this is the same for any example. If you want to see a forum about chocolate there is one for that, most are user generated forums. Back to the point, EA Sports just makes this sub-reddit forum that players of the game subscribe to. Typical topics that come onto this forum are suggested improvements to the game or even when there are problems with the game users can make this known through the forum. Sometimes players even ask for advice from other players on how to improve their team.
How does this solve any problems for the business of EA Sports?
Well, EA sports actually has dedicated professionals that monitor Reddit forums for Madden Mobile and they actually interact with the community very often.
